March 5, 2009, Thursday, 1:00 PM at the Yosemite Bank Conference Room, 40061 Highway 49, Oakhurst, CA: This is a preliminary meeting with Mariposa and Madera County stakeholders to discuss potential future collaboration, boundaries, and cooperation options. The Chowchilla River and Lower Streams Watersheds are shared by both Counties. Developing and describing the boundaries and relationships between watersheds is a requirement of the Regional Acceptance Process (RAP). Please RSVP, the meeting room is limited in size. Important Note: This meeting continues discussions initiated during the boundary breakout group on February 19th. During this meeting, we will discuss feasible options and rationale for boundaries within Madera and Mariposa. Those options will then be circulated for comment so, as a group, we can decide which makes the most sense for our RAP application. If you are unable to attend this meeting, you still will be informed about what happened and be able to provide input to the process. Thanks!

March 26, 2009, Thursday, 8:00 am to noon, Mariposa County Board of Supervisors Chambers, 5100 Bullion Street in Mariposa: This meeting, similar to the February 19th meeting, will start with progress updates since our last meeting and then continue with work groups to complete our Regional Acceptance Process application including our Regional Water Management Group (RWMP) organization. Again, a detailed agenda along with meeting materials will be available prior to the meeting so everyone can be prepared. Also, prior to that meeting, materials will be available for comment as they are drafted. Thanks for your participation!
